6th Annual Run To The Ruins Car Show Information

The Over The Hill Gang Car Club of Cortez welcomes you to the beautiful "Four Corners". Cortez, CO is within 2 hours of Canyonlands and Arches National Parks, 1 hour of the Four Corners Monument, 45 minutes of the Durango and Silverton Railroad, 30 minutes of McPhee Reservoir (the second largest lake in Colorado), and is 20 minutes from the entrance to Mesa Verde National Park. What a great area! Where the mountains meet the Colorado Plateau. So much to see and do....
This is the official website of the annual Run To The Ruins Car Show. We hope that this site convinces you to attend the show as a participant or spectator. The show is held in the shaded and beautiful Centennial Park in Cortez, CO. We host a pre-registration party on Friday (8th), starting at 5:30 PM at the Sonic Drive-In located on South Broadway with free dessert compliments of OTHG-Cortez. The park will open to entrants at 8:00 AM on Saturday. There will be entertainment throughout the day, a free "Car Corral" for those who want to sell a vehicle, and awards at 3:00 PM. Following the show a mini-car show and cruise-in to the Sonic Drive-In will be held from 6:00 - 10:00. On Sunday at 9:00 AM we will meet at Parque de Vida to depart on the Run To The Ruins cruise, which will last approx. 2 hours and end at the Hovenweep National Monument. A free lunch will be hosted at the National Monument by OTHG (limited to show entrants and their families only).
In the 6 years that we have hosted the show, we have enjoyed an average of approx. 150 vehicles at the show. We would like to thank those of you who have supported the show in the past, and it is because of your support that the show continues to be a success. Over the past 8 years, we have been able to donate over $21,000 to national and local charities, mostly from show proceeds.
